Don’t like tab previews? Follow the steps in this how-to guide article to disable the tab preview feature in the Microsoft Edge browser.
With the recent update, Microsoft added a new feature called Tab Previews. When enabled, it will show a small preview of the tab’s content when you mouse over (hover) a tab. If you are wondering, this is similar to previews that appear when you mouse over an icon on the taskbar.
If you like to quickly preview what’s in a tab before opening it, tab previews are pretty helpful. However, they can also be a distraction and take up too much space, and cover over a part of the current web page and Edge’s user interface.
Thankfully, you can turn off the tab previews feature in Edge if you want. This article shows you the exact steps in detail if you want to disable tab previews.
