How to Delete Browser History in Edge

Your Edge browser automatically records and saves your browsing history. This helps the browser load URLs quickly, show URLs as you type in the address bar, and help you remember or trace back your browsing. While helpful, there will be times when you need to delete the entire browsing history. For example, to make sure others cannot see your browser history or delete all the old stuff and start clean.

Whatever the reason, the Edge browser lets you delete the browsing history with just a few clicks. In this tutorial, we’ll show a simple way to delete Edge browser history. Let’s get started.

After opening the Edge browser, click the three dots menu icon and select the Settings option. Alternatively, you can also type “edge:\\settings” in the address bar and press Enter to open the Edge settings page.

On the Settings page, navigate to the “Privacy, search & services” tab on the sidebar. This is where all the privacy and services-related settings are located. Since the browsing history is termed as a privacy feature, you can locate it on this page.

Now, click the “Choose what to clear” button under the Clear Browsing Data section.
