How to Delete URL From Edge Address Bar

Want to remove a specific URL from the address bar suggestions? Follow these steps to delete a URL from the Microsoft Edge address bar.

Every URL or web page you visit in Edge is tracked and saved in your browsing history. Edge, like any other browser, keeps track of how many times you visited a specific URL. The browser then uses this information to show autocomplete suggestions in the address bar as you start to type the web address.

For example, if you visit outlook.com frequently, Edge might show URL suggestions for that specific web address as soon as you type “o.” If you have multiple websites that start with “o,” Edge will show them in descending order so that the most frequently visited web address is at the top.

While the address bar URL autocomplete and suggestions are helpful, they can also be a privacy issue. For instance, you might not want a specific URL to appear in address bar suggestions. The good thing is, you can easily remove a URL from the Microsoft Edge address bar suggestions. In fact, the process is very similar to how you delete a URL from Chrome address bar.

So, let’s dive in and learn how to delete a URL from the address bar in Microsoft Edge.
