How to Zoom In and Out in Chrome & Edge Browsers

By default, the zoom level in Chrome and Edge browsers is set to 100% and is generally good enough. However, if you want to change the zoom level in Chrome or Edge browser, you can do it with a keyboard shortcut or using the options. For example, if the text is too small and hard to read, you can increase the zoom level and vice-versa. In this tutorial, we’ll show you two methods to zoom in and zoom out in both Chrome and Edge browsers. Let’s get started.

How to Zoom In and Out in Chrome

Method #1:

To zoom in on Google Chrome, press Ctrl and + (the plus key) at the same time. Alternatively, hold down the Ctrl key and scroll up with your mouse wheel or touchpad.

To zoom out, press Ctrl and (the minus key) at the same time. You can also hold down the Ctrl key and scroll down with your mouse or touchpad.

Method #2:

Click the Menu icon (three vertical dots) on the top right corner. In the menu, look for the Zoom section. You will see a + and button with a percentage in the middle (this indicates the current zoom level). Click the + button to zoom in and button to zoom out.
