By default, Windows shows a single clock on the taskbar based on your current location settings. However, what if you want to display multiple clocks on your taskbar? For example, if you travel a lot or have regular meetings with people on the other side of the world, having multiple clocks across time zones is quite helpful. Thankfully, you can show multiple clocks on your Windows taskbar by adjusting the time and date settings. In this tutorial, we’ll show you the steps to add additional clocks to the taskbar in a simple way. Let’s get started.
Note: The steps below are tested to work on Windows 10 & 11.
Add Multiple Clocks to the Taskbar
Both on Windows 10 & 11, you can add and show up to two additional clocks on the taskbar. The good thing is, the clocks can be of different time zones and it doesn’t matter. All you have to do is, select a couple of options and you are good to go.
First, right-click on the taskbar clock appearing at the bottom-right corner of your monitor. Select, the Adjust date and time option.
The above action will open the Date & Time settings page in the PC Settings app. Here, click on the following option:
- On Windows 10, scroll down and click on the Add clocks for different timezones option under Related Settings.
- On Windows 11, click on the Additional Clocks option under Related Links.
As soon as you click on the option, the good old win32 Date & Time settings window will open. In this window, ensure you are in the Additional Clocks tab, select the Show this clock checkbox, and select the time zone of your choice.
As I said earlier, you can choose up to two additional clocks. In my case, I selected both checkboxes to see Eastern time and Tokyo time on the taskbar.
By default, Windows uses Clock 1 and Clock 2 as the names for the additional clocks. If you want to rename them, simply enter the name of your choice in the Enter Display Name field.
Finally, click on the OK button to save changes.
That is all. With that, you’ve added the additional clocks to your taskbar. Of course, since additional clocks can clutter up the UI, you will only see one clock on the taskbar. However, if you hover your mouse on the clock, you will see additional clocks.
When you click on the taskbar clock, you will newly added clocks right under the main clock in the Calendar flyout.
