Step 1: Open Google Calendar in a web browser of your choice. Log into your Google account if needed.

Step 2: Find and right-click on the recurring event and select “Delete.”

Step 3: Select “This and following events” or “All events” and click/tap the “Ok” button.

If you joined a recurring event created by someone else using an invite, follow the below steps to delete it:

Step 1: Open Google Calendar in the Chrome or Edge browser. If needed, log into your Google account.

Step 2: Right-click on the joined recurring event entry and select the “Remove” option.

Step 3: Select “This and following events” or “All events” and click/tap the “Ok” button.

Restore deleted events in Google Calendar

All deleted events in Google Calendar are moved to trash. If you want, you can restore any deleted event in Google Calendar from trash. Here’s how.

  1. Open the Google Calendar web page.
  2. Click the “Settings” (gear) icon on the top-right corner.
  3. Select the “Trash” option.
  4. Click/tap the restore icon next to the event entry.
  5. The deleted event is restored in Google Calendar.
