How to turn off the window border color in Windows 11

You can turn off the window border color in Windows 11 from the Personalization section in the Settings app. Here is where to find and change the option.

  1. Open the Windows 11 Settings app by pressing the “Windows key + I” shortcut.
  2. Go to the “Personalization” tab on the sidebar.
  3. Click the “Colors” option on the right panel.
  4. Turn OFF the “Show accent color on title bars and windows borders” option.
  5. Close the settings.
  6. With that, the window border color is turned off.

How to turn on window border color in Windows 11

If you are not currently seeing the window borders and want to show them, you need to manually enable them in Windows 11. Here’s how to do it.

  1. First, open the Settings app by pressing the “Windows key + I” shortcut.
  2. Select the “Personalization” tab on the sidebar.
  3. Click the “Colors” option in the right panel.
  4. Turn ON the “Show accent color on title bars and windows borders” option.
