Remove ‘Your Phone’ from Startup
To stop Your Phone from starting with Windows, follow the steps below.
- Right-click on the empty taskbar.
- Select “Task Manager.”
- Go to the “Startup” tab.
- Select “Your Phone” from the list.
- Click on the “Disable” button.
- Close the task manager.
To remove Your Phone app from Windows startup, you have to disable it from the Task Manager’s Startup list. To do that, right-click on an empty space on the taskbar and select the “Task Manager” option. This action will open the Task Manager. You can also open it by pressing the “Ctrl + Shift + Esc” shortcut.
After opening the task manager, go to the “Startup” tab. This is where you will find all the apps that start with Windows. From here, you can manage which apps can and cannot start with Windows.
Here, select the “Your Phone” app in the list and click on the “Disabled” button. Doing so will disable it in the startup list.
That is all. Since you have disabled Your Phone app in the startup list it will no longer start Windows 10 from the next restart. If you really want to, you can also stop the app from running in the background.
