To pin a website to the taskbar in Windows 11, we have to use the Microsoft Edge browser. The Edge browser has a simple option to pin any website to the taskbar. Since the option is built into the Edge browser, it is pretty simple to use. Here is how to do it.
- Open the Edge browser from Start.
- Go to the website you want to pin.
- Click on the “Menu” (…) icon.
- Select the “More tools” option.
- Click on the “Pin to taskbar” option.
- With that, the website is pinned to the taskbar.

Since we need the Edge browser to pin a website to the taskbar, you must open it. To do that, click on the Edge icon on the taskbar. You can also search for the Microsoft Edge browser in the Start menu.
After opening the Microsoft Edge browser, go to the website or web page you want to pin. You can do that by typing the URL in the address bar and pressing Enter.
After that, click on the Menu icon in the top right corner. The icon will look like (…). Choose the “More tools > Pin to taskbar” option from the menu.
