How to Find Wi-Fi IP Address in Windows 10 & 11

What to know the IP address of your Wi-Fi network? Here are the exact steps to find the Wi-Fi IP address in Windows 10 & 11.

Every time you connect to a Wi-Fi network, your Windows computer will automatically get an IP address. This is how the Wi-Fi device recognizes your device and routes all the relevant traffic. If you’ve enabled network sharing, other devices on the same network can use this IP address to communicate with your computer.

Generally, most users never need to know the Wi-Fi IP address. However, if you are configuring a network share or want to access a network share of a particular computer, knowing the IP address will help a lot. Knowing how to find the Wi-Fi IP address will eliminate the need to manually scour through all the network systems or try irrelevant IP addresses.

The good thing is, Windows makes it easy to find the Wi-Fi network IP address. All you have to do is connect to the Wi-Fi network and open the Network Status page in the Settings app. It will instantly show the current IP address of Windows.

It doesn’t sound very clear but is easy to follow. So, without further ado, this simple how-to guide will show how to find Wi-Fi IP address in both Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
