YouTube is one of the most consumed video platforms on the planet, there is no doubt about it. On YouTube, you can find almost any type of video, be it cat videos, educational videos, tutorials, news, and any other crazy stuff. As good as it is, for whatever reason, Google wouldn't build an app for Windows 10. But that doesn't mean there are no YouTube apps for Windows 10. So, here are some of the best YouTube apps for Windows 10 you can try to enjoy YouTube natively on Windows 10.
Best YouTube Apps for Windows 10 in Microsoft Store
myTube is one of my favorite apps to watch YouTube on Windows 10. One of the things I really like about myTube is that it is constantly updated and keeps up with all the new changes in Windows 10. Add to that the app is very lightweight, minimal, and feature rich. I've even added myTube to my list of best Microsoft apps for Windows 10. Unlike YouTube's official web interface, the video playback UI is clean and to the point without any distractions. If you are like me who likes to watch videos while doing other stuff on your system, there is also a picture-in-picture mode.
Other features of myTube include but not limited to the ability download videos to local disk, channel notifications, ability to show a warning when playing on mobile data, support for live tiles, ability to separate myTube history from the actual YouTube history, private mode and TV mode for a distraction-free watching experience. There is also a new feature called Rooms where you can watch YouTube videos with your buddies at the same time. All you have to do is, create a room and share the password so that others can join the room.
Price: myTube costs $0.99, a one-time purchase. Trust me, it's worth your money. Also, from time to time, the app developer or Microsoft store will be giving away the app for free. Keep a lookout for that if you don't want to spend money.
