Though Google doesn’t officially make a YouTube app for Windows, Microsoft store has some of the best YouTube apps for Windows 10.
YouTube is one of the most consumed video platforms on the planet, there is no doubt about it. On YouTube, you can find almost any type of video, be it cat videos, educational videos, tutorials, news, and any other crazy stuff. As good as it is, for whatever reason, Google wouldn’t build an app for Windows 10. But that doesn’t mean there are no YouTube apps for Windows 10. So, here are some of the best YouTube apps for Windows 10 you can try to enjoy YouTube natively on Windows 10.
Best YouTube Apps for Windows 10 in Microsoft Store
These are the best YouTube apps for Windows 10
myTube is one of my favorite apps to watch YouTube on Windows 10. One of the things I really like about myTube is that it is updated frequently and keeps up with all the new changes in Windows 10. Add to that the app is lightweight, minimal, and feature-rich. Unlike YouTube’s official web interface, the video playback UI is clean and to the point without any distractions. If you are like me who likes to watch videos while doing other work, there is also a picture-in-picture mode.
Other features of myTube include but not limited to the ability to download videos to local disk, channel notifications, ability to show a warning when playing on mobile data, ability to separate myTube history from the actual YouTube history, private mode and TV mode for a distraction-free watching experience.
There is also a new feature called Rooms where you can watch YouTube videos with your buddies at the same time. All you have to do is, create a room and share the password so that others can join the room.
Price: myTube costs $0.99, a one-time purchase. Trust me, it’s worth your money. If you don’t like paying, from time to time, the app developer or Microsoft store will be giving away the app for free. Keep a lookout for that.

One of the interesting features of 4K Player is that it has daily updated categories depending on genres and popularity. You can think of them as curated videos. If you want to, you can browse through these categories to find interesting videos.
Other features of the app include background music playback, location-specific YouTube charts, ability to search for music, etc.
