Learn how to remove the ‘Scan with Malwarebytes’ option from the right-click context menu in Windows 11 and Windows 10.
When you install Malwarebytes in Windows, it automatically adds a new option called ‘Scan with Malwarebytes‘ to the context menu. This option allows you to quickly scan any file or folder directly from the right-click context menu. While this option is very helpful, if you are not using it, removing ‘Scan with Malwarebytes’ from the context menu reduces the clutter. Even after removing the option, you can still scan any individual file or folder using the Custom Scan option in Malwarebytes.
In this quick and easy guide, I will show you how to configure Malwarebytes to prevent the ‘Scan with Malwarebytes’ option from appearing in the context menu in Windows 11 and Windows 10. Let’s get started.
