Want to install Mac style cursors in Windows? Here’s how to do it simple steps.
The default cursor style in Windows 10 and 11 is pretty good. You can even change the default cursor’s size via the accessibility settings. However, if you don’t like the default cursor style, you can change it to whatever you want using CUR files.
For instance, compared to the regular pointer cursor, I really like the gloved pointer in macOS. Like me, if you too like the Mac cursor styles, you can install them in Windows and make the Windows cursor look like the macOS cursor. All you have to do is download macOS Mojave or macOS High Sierra cursor and add them to the Windows pointer styles. It is a pretty simple process.
In this quick and simple tutorial, let me show you how to install macOS cursors in Windows 10 and Windows 11. Let’s get started.

As the first step, download the macOS cursors from this GitHub page. Just click the “Source code (zip)” link under “Assets”.
After downloading, right-click the downloaded zip file and select “Extract All“. Next, click the “Extract” button to extract the zip file to a new folder in the same directory.

Note: If you need higher DPI cursors, open the “Large” or “XtraLarge” folder instead.
Now, right-click the “install.inf” file and select the “Install” button.

As soon as you do that, the mouse cursor is installed and you should see the “Mouse Properties” window open.
Note: On Windows 10, the mouse properties window might not open automatically. To open it manually, open Control Panel by searching for it in the Start menu, click the “Mouse” option and go to the “Pointers” tab.
Now, ensure the newly installed cursor style is selected under the “Scheme” section, and click the “Apply” and “OK” buttons.
Note: If you see a confirmation or warning dialog, click OK/Yes to continue.

That is all. You’ve installed the new macOS cursor and it is enabled automatically.

The cursor is too small.
The cursor size depends on your DPI scaling. If you’re DPI scaling is high, I recommend you find mouse cursors with high DPI support.
i cant find the install.inf
It looks like the developer changed the folder structure recently. He created different folders for different cursor sizes. You can find the install.inf file within the folders in the ZIP file. For example, if you want to install Large cursors, you will find the related install.inf file in the Large folder.
when i click on it in mt desktop it only shows standard large and extra large
