Stop the Photos App from Showing OneDrive Photos
To stop the Photos app from displaying OneDrive photos, you need to disable its OneDrive integration. Here’s how to do it.
- Open the Start menu by clicking the “Windows icon” on the taskbar.
- Search and open “Photos“.
- Click the “Settings” icon to the top right of the title bar.
- Scroll down to the “OneDrive Accounts” section in Settings.
- Click your OneDrive account name.
- Click the “Remove” button.
- With that, you’ve disabled OneDrive integration in the Photos app.
- From now on, the Photos app will stop showing OneDrive photos in it.

First, we must open the Photos app. To do that, open the Start menu by clicking the “Windows” icon on the taskbar. Next, search for “Photos” and click the “Open” option.
Once the Photos app opens, click the “Settings” icon appearing to the top right of the title bar.
The above action opens the Photos settings. On this page, scroll down to the “OneDrive Accounts” section, click on your account name, and then click the “Remove” button.
As soon as you click the button, the OneDrive integration is fully disabled, and the Photos app will no longer show OneDrive photos.
Unfortunately, the OneDrive option is still visible on the sidebar of the Photos app even after disabling the integration. You cannot remove it.
