Learn the steps to configure Windows 11 to display full time/clock in the taskbar calendar flyout in a simple way.
On Windows 11, you can open the calendar flyout by clicking the date and time on the taskbar. Unlike in Windows 10, Windows 11’s calendar flyout, up until now, only displayed the date. However, with the recent update KB5065426, Microsoft added the ability to display the full clock, including seconds, in the calendar flyout menu. To see the clock in the calendar flyout menu, you have to enable it via the date and time page in the Settings app.
In this quick and easy guide, I will show you how to configure Windows 11 to display time in the taskbar calendar flyout. Let’s get started.
Before You Start
- To enable the clock in the calendar flyout, your system must be running Windows 11 version 25H2 or have the KB5065426 update (or a newer version) installed.
Display Time in Taskbar Calendar Flyout Menu
- Right-click on the data & time on the taskbar.
- Select “Adjust date and time“.
- Turn ON the “Show time in Notification Center” toggle.
- With that, the time is displayed in the calendar flyout.
Detailed Steps (With Screenshots)
The first step is to open the date and time settings in Windows 11. To do that, right-click on the date and time on the taskbar and then select the “Adjust date and time” option. Alternatively, open the Settings app by pressing the “Windows key + I” shortcut and go to the “Time & language” > “Date & time” page.

On this page, turn ON the “Show time in Notification Center” toggle.
Note: If you don’t see this toggle, you are not using the latest version of Windows 11. If you are sure that you are using the latest version of Windows (with the KB5065426 update), this feature may not be enabled as part of Microsoft A/B testing. In that case, you have to wait for Microsoft to activate this feature on your system.

That is all. From now on, when you click the date and time on your taskbar, the time (including seconds) will be displayed directly above the calendar in the flyout panel.
