How to Reset Photos App on Windows 11

Steps to Reset the Photos App on Windows 11

  1. Open “Settings” with the “Windows key + I” shortcut.
  2. Go to the “Apps” tab.
  3. Click the “Installed apps” option.
  4. Find the “Photos” app.
  5. Click the “three dots” () icon next to “Photos”.
  6. Select “Advanced options“.
  7. Scroll down and click the “Reset” button.
  8. Press the “Reset” button again.
  9. Close the Settings app and restart your computer.
  10. With that, the Photos app is reset.
