How to Move Off Screen Window to Current Screen

If a program stuck off screen or if it opened off screen, you can move it to the current screen. Here are the steps to move off screen window.

When you open a program in Windows, it automatically opens itself in the middle of the screen. If you have two or more monitors, it might open on the primary screen. However, if the program is able to remember its last known position on the screen, it will open in that exact position. In general day to day usage, where the application opens is not that big of an issue.

That being said, there might be situations where a program window opens off screen or to the edge of the screen. If you can still click on the window’s title bar, you can simply click and drag it to the main screen. If you cannot click on the title bar or if the window is not at all visible on the main screen, it becomes very hard to drag it to the main screen and use it.

The good thing is, Windows has a neat little accessibility feature called “Move” that lets you move any window, even if it is off screen, with the arrow keys on your keyboard or with the mouse.

In this quick and simple guide, let show how you can move off screen window in the Windows operating system.
