Steps to Empty Gmail Trash Folder
To empty the trash folder in Gmail, follow the steps below.
- Log in to your Gmail account.
- Click “More” on the sidebar.
- Click “Trash” to open the Trash folder.
- Press the “Empty trash now” button.
- Click the “OK” button in the confirmation window.
- With that, all the emails in the Trash folder are deleted.

First, log in to your Gmail account (https://gmail.com). You might need to enter your email address and password to log in. After successfully logging in, find the “More” option on the left sidebar and click it.

This action will expand the More section. Here, find and click the “Trash” folder.

This will open the trash folder, and you can see all the emails in it. Since we want to delete all the emails in the trash folder, click the “Empty trash now” button appearing at the top-center of the screen.
Note: You can also delete specific emails in the trash folder. To do that, select the checkboxes for all the emails you want to delete, then click the “Delete forever” button.

Now, click the “OK” button in the confirmation pop-up. As soon as you do that, all the emails in the Trash folder will be deleted.

Note: If you have many emails in the Trash folder, it can take a couple of minutes for Gmail to delete them.
Can I Recover Deleted Emails in Gmail?
