Want to use Google Chrome on the go or without installing? Here is a simple way to download and use portable Google Chrome in Windows.
Of all the web browsers available today, none comes close to the Chrome browser. It is one of the most used and often loved web browsers right now. A couple of main reasons for its popularity and huge market share are its features, multi-platform support, compatibility with new web technologies, ability to sync with a Google account, and constant innovation in supporting new technologies. Even though other browsers like Edge and Firefox are trying their best, they are nowhere near the market share of the Google Chrome browser.
Generally, to use Google Chrome, it needs to be installed on your machine. Once installed, you can sign in to your Google account and sync the browsing data to resume workflow. However, what if you are on the go or don’t want to install Google Chrome but want to use it? In that case, you can use the Chrome portable version for Windows. As the name implies, portable software needs no installation. You can just copy Google Chrome to a USB drive or other removable drive and start using it on the go.
That way, your Chrome browser will always be with you. When using a public or untrusted computer, plug in the USB drive and start using your personal Chrome browser. You don’t have to worry about untrusted browsers on someone’s computer or having no access to your browsing history.
