But what if you want to change the first day of the week without changing your region or country? For instance, I prefer to have Monday as the first day of the week instead of Sunday.

Change First Day of the Week in Windows 11 Calendar

1. Open Settings by pressing “Windows key + I”.
2. Go to the “Time & Language” tab.
3. Click the “Language & Region” option.
4. Expand the “Regional Format” section.
5. Click the “Change Formats” button.
6. Select the weekday from the “First day of week” dropdown.
7. Close the Settings app.
8. With that, you’ve changed the first day of the week in Windows 11.

Like always, open the Settings app first by pressing the “Windows key + I” shortcut. You can also search for “Settings” in the Start menu or right-click the Start menu icon and select “Settings”.

Go to the “Time & Language” tab from the sidebar in the Settings window and click the “Language & Region” option on the right page.

On this page, scroll down to the “Region” section, expand the “Regional Format” section, and click the “Change Formats” option.

Now, select the weekday of your choice from the “First day of week” dropdown. For instance, since I want my first day of the week to start with Monday, I selected “Monday” from the dropdown menu.
