Detailed Steps (With Screenshots)
As always, the first thing we need to do is open the Settings app. To do that, you can either click on the Settings icon on the Quick Settings panel or press the “Windows key + I” keyboard shortcut. You can also search for the same in the Start menu.
After that, go to the “Time & Language” tab on the sidebar and then click the “Language & Region” option on the right panel. This is where you will find all the options for managing language settings.

Here, see if you can find the language you want to set as default under the “Languages” section. If you cannot, click the “Add a language” button. This action will allow you to add the language pack.
Now, use the top search bar to search for the language you want to set as the default, select it, and click the “Next” button.

After selecting the language, select the “Set as default display language” checkbox and click the “Install” button. This action will force Windows to download the desired language pack.

At this point, the newly selected language will be at the top of all other languages in the “Language” section. If not, drag and drop the language into the first place. Next, either sign out, then sign in, or restart the computer.

After restarting the computer, the newly selected language will be the default display language. That is all. It is that simple to change the display language in Windows 11.
