In case you aren’t following the tech news, there are a few vulnerabilities found in Intel CPU that may affect its users adversely. To mitigate and fix the issues, Intel recently completed the software validation of the security patches. Microsoft worked with Intel to release the microcode update to all Windows 10 users running the v2004 version. Installing the Intel microcode update KB4558130 update will patch those security vulnerabilities.
The recent vulnerabilities affected a wide range of Intel CPUs. As such, it is important the update should only be installed in systems with affected CPUs.
