How To Bulk Delete Saved Passwords in Google Chrome

Want to delete all the saved passwords from the Google Chrome browser? This tutorial is for you.

Google Chrome’s built-in password manager is pretty simple to use. For those who have enabled the sync option, all your saved passwords are synced with other devices automatically. However, it is pretty basic and bare-bones, especially when compared to other dedicated password managers such as Bitwarden or 1Password.

If you are considering migrating to another password manager or no longer want to use Google Password Manager, you should delete all your saved passwords from the Chrome browser. That way, you don’t have to worry about password leaks, duplicates, and unwanted auto-fills in the browser and other devices.

In this quick and straightforward tutorial, I will show you how to bulk delete saved passwords in Google Chrome. Let’s get started.

Before You Start

  • Once you delete your passwords in Chrome, they are gone forever. So, backup your Chrome passwords before proceeding.
  • Bulk deleting passwords from Chrome also deletes any saved passkeys.
