If you wish to change the scroll direction on Windows 11, follow the below steps.
By default, Windows 11’s scroll behavior is configured such that when you move the scroll wheel down, the screen’s content moves up and takes you to the bottom of the page. This is called ‘reverse scrolling‘. While most Windows users feel at home with this scrolling behavior and never need to change, there might be situations where changing the scrolling direction is necessary. For example, you might be used to the ‘natural scrolling‘ in macOS or touchscreens where scrolling down moves the screen’s content down and takes you to the top of the page.
Thankfully, you can easily change the scroll direction in Windows 11 using the Settings app. It’s a pretty simple thing to do. In this quick and straightforward tutorial, I’ll show you how to do it. Let’s get started.

Detailed Steps (With Screenshots)
You can modify the scrolling direction using the Windows 11 Settings. So, open it by pressing the “Windows key + I” shortcut to follow along. You can also right-click the Windows/Start icon on the taskbar and select “Settings”.
Once it opens, go to the “Bluetooth & devices” tab from the sidebar and click the “Mouse” option on the right panel. This is where you can customize and change various settings related to your mouse.

On this page, scroll down to the “Scrolling” section and select the scrolling direction of your choice from the “Scrolling direction” dropdown menu. For example, if you’d like to use macOS style ‘natural scrolling’, change the scroll direction to “down motion scrolls up“.

Once you change the scroll direction, it is applied automatically. You can try it out and see if that’s what you need. If you wish to restore the default Windows 11 scroll direction, choose the “down motion scroll down” option from the “Scrolling direction” dropdown menu.
